Postcard Holder?: No postcard holder

This beautiful pack of twelve rainbow coloured postcards features a quote from literature for each month of the year. A wonderful gift to yourself or to a loved one to help you kick off 2024 the right way.

Here are the quotes:

“January is the month for dreaming.” - Jean Hersey.

“You have such a February face, so full of frost, or storm and cloudiness.” - Shakespeare.

“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.” - Charles Dickens.

“A gust of bird-song. A patter of dew. A cloud. And a rainbow’s warning. Suddenly sunshine and perfect blue - an April day in the morning.” Harriet Elizabeth Prescott Spofford.

“For may wol have no slogardie a-night. The seson priketh every gentil herte, and maketh him out of his slepe to sterte.” - Geoffrey Chaucer.

“At midnight, in the month of June, I stand beneath the mystic moon.” - Edgar Allen Poe.

“Hot July brings cooling showers, apricots and gillyflowers.” - Sara Coleridge.

“August rain: the best of the summer gone, and the new fall not yet born. The odd uneven time.” - Sylvia Plath.

“That old September feeling, left over from school days, of summer passing. Vacation nearly done, obligations gathering. Books and football in the air.” - Wallace Stegner.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” - L.M Montgomery.

“Some of the days in November carry the whole memory of summer as a fire opal carries the colour of moonrise. “ - Gladys Taber.

“I heard a bird sing in the dark of December. A magical thing, a sweet to remember, we are nearer to spring than we were in September. I heard a bird sing in the dark of December.” - Oliver Herford.
