Not as good as I'd hoped

I'd had my eye on the candle for a little while and decided to treat myself to one as an early Christmas present. I was disappointed to notice that, when it arrived, there was a sizeable dent in the wax at the top of the candle - that protruded quite a way down into the candle itself. I contacted the team at Bookishly to see if i could arrange an exchange and was told that 'slight dipping' can occur with products of this nature. (To be clear, it was definitely more than 'slight dipping' - which had been illustrated in the pictures I'd taken. I've bought several handmade / soy candles over the years and have never experienced this previously.) Their solution was to invite me to pay for the postage to send the item back - and that they would 'see if they had another' to send me. Given that this was a little treat for myself, I was disappointed with the product and the customer service I received.

So sorry you are disappointed! I apologise for any confusion regarding the return postage. We aren't able send pre-paid labels but we would always refund you the return postage costs via the original order.
