International Friendship Day
“We clung to books and to our friends; they reminded us that we had another part to us.” - Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer.

International Day of Friendship is celebrated on 30th July. Created by the UN in 2011, its aim is to promote the role that friendship plays in the heightening of peace within communities.
Sherlock and Watson, Anne and Diana, Frodo and Sam. Literature has provided us with some remarkable friendships over the years, ones that we hope to find and emulate in our own lives.
We've compiled a selection of our favourite literary gifts that we hope capture the magic of having a best friend.
