International Friendship Day

International Day of Friendship is celebrated on 30th July. Created by the UN in 2011, its aim is to promote the role that friendship plays in the heightening of peace within communities.

Sherlock and Watson, Anne and Diana, Frodo and Sam. Literature has provided us with some remarkable friendships over the years, ones that we hope to find and emulate in our own lives.
